A wedding is a whirlwind of events that is gone in the blink of an eye! This is why an organized timeline, executed perfectly, is of utmost importance. While you are planning out the specific events of your day, here is a typical look from the photographer’s point of view. This sample includes a bride and groom First Look. As the Photographer, I am here to assist you in your wedding planning so that you can enjoy the moments as they come. Below is a suggestion of what typically works well with every wedding. This is an excerpt from my Wedding Day Planning Magazine, a complementary gift to every bride who comes my way. If you’re interested in seeing the rest of the magazine and talking about photography for your wedding day, please drop me a line here!
Meet Zoe, one of the most unique and one of a kind class of 2015 seniors I know over at Westfield High School in Chantilly, VA. She marches to the beat of her own drum and it’s awesome to see. We spent an afternoon in Old Town Manassas, VA one weekday afternoon for her senior portraits and had an absolute blast. I love that she brought her vintage bike to include in her senior photos, making them even more unique!
After her photo session, I posted a quick sneak peek on Facebook. I LOVED what Zoe’s mom had to say so I figure I would share her words here with you: “Senior mom tears are flowing!!! Heather, you are AMAZING! This is a MUST experience, especially if you have a girl! Zoe felt beautiful and confident every step of the way and the picture shows it!! Thank you, Heather!”
Did you catch that? Did you hear what Zoe’s mom said? Allow me to reiterate: A senior portrait session is a “MUST experience”! It is more than beautiful photos. It is about a high school senior stepping out and growing in confidence in who she is now and the exciting journey that lays ahead of her.
Doesn’t Zoe have the most contagious smile? And the bike!!!
If you are ready feel more beautiful and confident than you ever have, shoot me a message here and we’ll talk all about the juicy details of your very own senior portrait session. Until then feel free to like, share and comment on this post!
Big news, and I mean BIG news, is being shared here today! My family and I are thrilled to announce that we will be expecting baby #2 in the spring of 2015! The timing of all of this caught us a tad off guard, but some of the best things in life are surprises and we are so excited!
So being a mom & a photographer definitely meant I had to share all this good news through photos! So here is Aiden showing off his chubby belly & his excitement at becoming a “Big Brother!” And if you were to ask him whether he wants a baby sister or a baby brother, his response will be “baby sister please!”
