I love this season! Aside from the frigid, cold weather, this is my favorite time of year. Christmas trees & lights, hot chocolates, crackling fire places, the beauty of snow covered neighborhoods, Christmas music, and the joy of giving. This month, I celebrate my birthday (whoa, 29 already!!!) and also the birth of my Lord & Savior Jesus! It’s just the most wonderful time of the year!
Recently I’ve gotten a lot of questions from friends and clients asking if they are able to purchase a photo session for someone else in their family for this Christmas season. This is a GREAT idea and I don’t know why I didn’t think of it before! You most certainly can do that! So if you’re still wondering what to get someone for Christmas, why not give them the gift of images of the ones they love that they can cherish for years to come? Perhaps you know someone who just moved into a new home and wants to decorate those walls with family photos – gift them with a photo session. Or maybe you know an expectant mom – gift her with a maternity session to commemorate this beautiful season in her life. Or maybe you know a woman who just is overworked and extremely exhausted – so gift her with a glamour makeover & photoshoot so she can be pampered for a few hours and get some drop dead gorgeous images of herself. Everyone loves photos so a professional photoshoot is the perfect gift for that special person in your life.
So here’s the deal. Every photo session purchased for someone else from now until Christmas will include:
* A two hour photo session by yours truly (value of $125)
* $25 towards any prints, canvas, metal prints, wall art and/or albums (sample products can be viewed here)
So you can see here that this is a $150 value. Because this is the season of giving, 30% of all the proceeds from these gift vouchers will go directly towards Angel Tree, an organization that reaches out to children of inmates and their families with love of Christ and helps meets their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Not only will you be giving the gift of photos to your loved one, but you’ll also be helping a child who is unable to spend this Christmas season with their mom or dad.
So what do you need to do? Just let me know here that you are interested in this. We’ll get it all set up and I’ll mail you a gift voucher so you actually have something to wrap up and give Christmas morning. Easy peasy, right?
And if you are feeling extra giving this time of year, you can directly make a tax deductible donation to Angel Tree here.
Merry Christmas all!
