One of the great things about living in the Washington DC area is the cultural diversity. This year alone, I had the privilege of photographing an Indian, a Korean, multiple Jewish, and, the most recent, an Indonesian wedding. It was honor to be a part of Samantha and Hardian’s wedding day held at the beautiful Franciscan Monastery in Washington DC. The bride, as you can tell from her name, is American, but the groom has his roots in Indonesia. And as such, the wedding had an Indonesian flare to it. One of the most interesting parts of the day was the special Indonesian dances. These two women charmed the wedding guests with their Indonesian moves and music. More photos from Stephanie and Hardian’s day will be posted shortly!
