I am more than a photographer. I am more than a small business owner. I am more than an entrepreneur. I am a wife and a mother. And those later two roles far exceed anything I can and will do in the business/photography realm. Without question, being there for my family comes first, but I admit that it’s rarely easy figuring out how to balance the unending demands of motherhood and pressures of being a small business owner. I know I’m not the only mom out there who feels this way.
Mompreneurs have been on the rise in the small business sector in the last few years. The art of mompreneurship is all about crafting a profitable, untraditional career, that fits into the role of motherhood. Anyone can tell you that launching and sustaining your own creative business is not for the faint of heart. It takes time, a lot of it. It takes dedication. Long hours and many nights of little to no sleep. Throw in a couple kids and a hubby and it’s down right tough balancing family life and business obligations, especially while running that business from home. Mompreneurs are often left feeling exhausted, run down and questioning whether or not the pursuit of the business they are so passionate about is really worth it.
It is so worth it. And this monthly series will help you achieve more.
I am thrilled to officially launch Momprenuers Unite, a community of like-minded mothers who want to take their business to the next level while not sacrificing time with their family. This blog series will support, empower and inspire women who wear the many hats of being both a Mom and an Entrepreneur. On the first Tuesday of every month, we will share stories, interviews, practical tips on everything from maximizing time to work-life balance, self confidence and so on. This will be a resource to all moms who desire to make their passion profitable while being the best mother and wife they possibly can be.
I am so excited to see the community develop and grow. Good things are coming.

Thank you for making your way on over here, reading and sharing.
